who are touched or inspired by Arghand’s mission in Afghanistan
sometimes ask us how they can help. While we are deeply grateful
for these open-ended offers, we don’t always know how to respond.
So we’ve come up with the following “Wish List.”
On this list are goods and services that will directly or indirectly
help us expand the market for licit crops cultivated by Kandahar-area
farmers and provide employment with fair wages and conditions to
both women and men. Whether you want to donate a whole item from
the list, make a partial donation toward one of the items or have
information that might lead to a particular acquisition, we recommend

that she can assist you with shipping/delivery instructions.

Currently
we are not able to use the US APO, so all parcels for Arghand Kandahar
must be sent first to our warehouse in Canada, for forwarding via
the Canadian Army Post Office. This means that Arghand must now
pay for Canadian customs and postage from Canada for all wishlist
items sent from the United States. Please investigate whether a
given item can be ordered in Canada, and if not, check with Arghand
before shipping items from the US to ensure they are crucial enough
to warrant the indirect routing. We are working to reverse this
situation. Apologies and sincere thanks.
